Cleaning the Kitchen-How to Clean Kitchen Walls

The kitchen is the heart of your home and therefore usually the messiest. The stove top gets splashed when cooking, the sink gets piled high with dirty dishes, liquids such as milk and juice get spilled in the refrigerator and the work tops get filled with school letters, the mail, kitchen utensils, crumbs etc…

Here are some tips to help keep away the smells and the grime.

Lets start with how to clean kitchen walls:
If you have painted walls in your kitchen try mixing a solution of 1 gallon of water and ½ cup of chlorine bleach. This will not only clean your kitchen walls, it will brighten them up, and help to remove the frying smells and residue.

If you have waterproof wallpaper on your walls remove the excess dust and dirt with either a duster or a vacuum cleaner. Then with a solution of ½ cup of lemon juice, ½ cup of dish washing liquid and 1 quart of water.

NOTE: Always test an inconspicuous area first.

If your budding artist has drawn on the walls in pencil use a slice of rye bread to rub it away.
